Our mission is to solve the crushing labor problem faced by farmers today, by making collaborative robots a reality. To do this, we are starting first with Burro. Burro is a robotic platform that follows people and can autonomously run cargo around, relieving people of strenuous tasks which add little value, so that they can focus on more valuable work.

I grew up on a working farm tinkering with machines and technology that could replicate / automate tedious work done by people (often me) outdoors. Today, I continue to tinker, professionally, in the same domain, while building a world class team and product.

Our team at Burro (formerly Augean Robotics) is on a mission to solve the crippling labor problem faced by farmers. We are doing this by making collaborative robots akin to Wall-E a reality, beginning first with Burro, a vision-based fully autonomous robotic platform that helps people work more productively, while laying the base for ever more expansive autonomy where it is needed most.
