Dr. Olan Soremekun is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cayaba Care. Among wealthy nations, the US remains the most dangerous country for a woman to give birth and has poorer child health outcomes. These outcomes disproportionately impact black and brown families.

Cayaba Care was founded with a mission to improve outcomes in communities by reimagining how maternity and pediatric care is delivered.

Prior to founding Cayaba, Dr. Soremekun held medical executive roles at Cigna where he worked on supporting physician adoption of value-based programs and population health strategies. In addition, he has held several physician leadership roles at major academic centers including Jefferson Health and University of Pennsylvania where he ran clinical operations and service-line expansion.

Olan earned his MD-MBA degree from Columbia University and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Program.
