I have extensive experience growing data analytics capabilities, from establishing data streams to building the foundation for predictive analytics and machine learning. I also have a background in policy, performing analytic consulting tasks for Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Previously, I was an early Data Scientist at Airbnb, where I spent five years working on machine learning fraud detection, logging integrity, mobile product analytics, and knowledge management. The data science team grew from 5 to 80+ while I was there. I had a great time, I love the Airbnb data science team!

Before Airbnb, I got degrees in EE and Stats from Stanford, and worked in empirical healthcare policy, helping to craft metrics and incentive systems as part of the Affordable Care Act's pay for performance programs.
