I am passionate about creating effective solutions to solve practical problems!

My journey so far has been very rewarding, including transforming transportation through AI & security technologies, and improving cybersecurity for businesses & consumers by developing innovative and effective assurance tools. Along the way, I have successfully built 4 start-ups, made many friends, and gained valuable experiences -- all while reluctantly growing older :-).

Today, the environment we share, the social fabric we are part of, and the food we all subsist on, are all facing unprecedented levels of challenge. How do we harness the power of technology to overcome the challenge and sustain our great humanity?

When I started building the Metafoodx team, we were simply motivated about getting people to eat healthy and responsibly. Quickly we realize that how big the food waste problem is, i.e. not only $400B lost from the supply chain, we still leave millions in starvation worldwide!

We have since focused on using AI technologies to track food consumption in granular details so that the data can enable accurate food production planning! We are the first to create this practical tracking & planning solution for foodservice operators in all group serving settings!

We started this 18 month ago, today, we can expect our solution to help businesses to become sustainable, we can help increase the world food security, and help our climate cause by reducing the top GHG contributor to the climate change. I am very excited about what we are doing! We have a good vision about helping everyone to eat healthy and responsibly too, but this is the best starting point!
