Mr. Sharma graduated with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Prior to attending the graduate school at Stanford, Mr. Sharma completed his Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee (Indian Institute of Technology).

Mr. Sharma had always aspired to be an entrepreneur and start his own venture. It is for this very reason that when he got exposed to the Verdigris revolution of trying to bring together a group of talented individuals who are all future entrepreneurs and collectively build a large company, he dove right in. At Verdigris, Mr.Sharma heads the professional services and customer support division and plays a key role in business development and product refinement. As a start-up, Verdigris Technologies offers Mr. Sharma an opportunity to wear multiple hats and he tries to excel in all these different roles. Joining the company at an early stage allows him to get involved in all sorts of different activities such as fund raising, business development, sales and marketing, product refinement, customer support, relationship management, developing software's user interface etc.

Mr. Sharma is also interested in developing some coding skills and is currently learning UNIX. Once he has a reasonable grasp of UNIX, he will change his focus on learning Ruby on Rails.

Mr. Sharma is driven to work towards making the world a more sustainable place to live by solving the world's energy problem. His goals are perfectly aligned with Verdigris Technologies mission of building a platform that will provide so much insight into how people/companies consume energy that will cause a behavior change which will ultimately lead to better energy management and lesser CO2 emissions. We at Verdigris Technologies hope to create a sustainable green planet in not so distant future!
