I live by the motto, “Progress always, in all ways.”

Throughout my career, I’ve relished the opportunity to create teams that solve interesting problems, often identifying groundbreaking trends before most see the potential.

Anticipating paradigm shifts in tech often feels like tilting at windmills, but time proves my gut instincts are on the money. For example, when most people were talking about managing their own data centers circa 2007 I focused on early public cloud and created an email governance service on AWS in response.

As the co-founder and CEO at CloudTruth, I follow in my father’s footsteps as a serial entrepreneur. Watching him start multiple business ventures taught me the importance of persevering through the normal ups and downs of entrepreneurial life. And, like him, I am proud to have created companies that, in turn, generate employment opportunities for hundreds of people.

For many people, starting their own companies may feel foreign or frightening, but I’m fortunate to be wired for the opposite. Taking a leap of faith with a new project, like a tech startup, feels natural.

I strive to promote a healthy work-life balance for myself, my teammates, and my peers by encouraging good habits and supporting initiatives that promote positive themes. In recent years, that has included adopting practices such as meditation, visualizing outcomes, and expressing gratitude more frequently. These not only help me achieve my goals, but also the environments and communities in which I work.

In my time off, you can find me volunteering for a regional Therapy Dog group, gardening, exercising, or tinkering in my workshop.
