Engineering is broken in a way most people don’t see. The tools exist. The talent exists. But the stack is fragmented, manual, and built for a world where humans are the only operators. That means engineers spend more time fighting their toolchain than actually engineering.
I started Synera because I lived this problem. During my PhD in aerospace engineering, my cofounders and I spent years scripting CAD and simulation tools together, duct taping workflows that broke every time something changed. One day we asked ourselves: why can’t engineering have its own JARVIS? Not a chatbot, but an actual system that understands the tools, runs the workflows, and acts on engineering logic.
That question became Synera. Today we build the agentic AI platform for engineering, deeply integrated into the real stack (CAD, FEA, CFD, PLM, ERP), enabling AI agents to run design, simulation, and costing workflows end to end. Not a layer on top. Inside the stack, where the work actually happens.
The bet is simple: the companies that figure out how to let AI agents operate inside their engineering processes will build faster, leaner, and with fewer constraints than everyone else. Hardware is entering its software moment, and most of the industry isn’t ready.
If you’re building at the intersection of AI and physical products, I’d like to hear how you think about it.
