Jin Kim is the founder and CEO of XCENA, a company focused on redefining memory for the AI era. He began his career at Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom, and later became one of the youngest executives at SK hynix, where he led SSD firmware and next-generation system architecture.

Based on his experience, he recognized early that the rapid growth of AI workloads would shift the primary bottleneck from compute to memory. This insight led him to found XCENA, where he is building CXL-based computational memory solutions designed to enable data-centric computing.

His work focuses on bringing compute closer to data and enabling scalable, composable memory infrastructure for hyperscale AI systems.
